- "After successfully competing in the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association (USFRA) in the 130–150 mph classes with a ’73 Camaro, Gary Spencer knew he wanted to go faster. He also knew that he wanted to remain behind the wheel of a chassis that was already familiar to him. The only issue was finding another car to build..."
"When Chevrolet Performance released the ZZ632 632 cubic-inch 1,000 horsepower crate engine, there really wasn’t much anyone could say other than, “Wow.” But, the ZZ632 is far from a perfect program — as the engine’s availability since launch is wait-list-only. And once you do have the beast in your possession, the factory ECU is locked out. So cracking into it voids the engine’s warranty.
Prestige Motorsports, in conjunction with Holley, have come up with an engine combination not only to match the orange monster, but surpass the bar it set by an easy 100 horsepower. All in a package consisting of readily available off-the-shelf parts that are easily tunable, unlike the ZZ632. Luckily, our friend Jeff Huneycutt of The Horsepower Monster was on hand to capture the build and testing of this awesome powerplant..."

"In the modern drag racing world, these antiquated pieces of equipment have been modernized and made safer with complete anti-roll kits available from companies such as Moroso Performance Products. "The best way to see what a car can do is to take it to the track. Project Number Cruncher’s racing career started with NHRA license runs at National Trail Raceway and from there, it was time to make some more hits. So, we decided to get more laps on the car at the biggest gathering of LS-powered vehicles in the world, Holley LS Fest."
"Regardless of what you drive, greasy engines are a constant concern for all of us, especially when the issues are internally oriented. This is precisely why the oil-centric minds at Moroso decided it was time to release a new air-oil separator kit. These latest air-oil separator kits are specifically designed to handle crankcase pressure for GM’s 5.3- and 6.2-liter DI engines."
Thank you. A little over a month has passed since Moroso Performance’s Inaugural Car Show took place on August 20th, 2022, and we could not be more pleased. After months of planning and coordinating, car enthusiasts from all over New England were able to join us at our main Moroso facility in Guilford, Connecticut for a beautiful, sun-filled day. As this was our first event in nearly twenty years, we were overwhelmed with joy by the turnout of both show cars and spectators. Filled to the brim, Moroso welcomed nearly one-thousand people, with over 300 show cars, ranging from antiques all the way to modern super cars and everything in between. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Moroso Performance and our beneficiaries, United Way of Greater New Haven, and the Apple Pi Robotics Team. Together we were able to raise an astounding $8,004 for charity! We can’t wait to see you next year at Moroso’s 2nd Annual Car Show!
