Description
- Update/rebuild kits for use with Original Design Moroso vacuum pumps Nos. 22640 & 22641
- Kit contains updated rotor and hardware to convert older Original Style pumps to current design*
- Includes all internals; rotor, hardware, vanes, lip seal, shaft/hub assembly, thrust washers & bearings
- Can also be used to rebuild current-style Nos. 22640 & 22641 pumps
*Early production Nos. 22640 and 22641 pumps utilized 10/32” set screws as well as a different shaft and rotor; this was revised after some time to a dog-point set screw, thus changing the design of the rotor and shaft as well. If you have an older “original design” pump and need to replace the shaft and/or rotor, the current style can be used; however all mating parts (dog point screws/shaft/rotor) will be required. These are available in kit form; No. 97178 (3 vane for No. 22640) and No. 97179 (4 vane for No. 22641). We recommend inspecting your pump prior to ordering to ensure the correct parts.
